Hello my sugarplums <3 Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
With frills and fringes in booming fashion, I had the fortuity to wear my newly bought pleated frills saree over the weekend.
Featuring an ivory saree in soft net base with pearl and cutdana embroidered motifs all over along with champagne pleated border and pom-pom edging. It was a custom designed saree on a request which I fell in love when I first saw a similar dupatta in her couture.
I requested her to recreate the same but in 6 yards pure elegance. She sketched her way of creation and showed it to me which I was definite to get it done. It was the first saree ever made from her brand and voila here it is constructed perfectly with soft net fabric and intricate detailing. It was true to what I expected and total bang for the buck.
I indulged myself in this saree over the weekend. Well I am not so good at draping soft fabrics and with the help of my friend she did amazing job with pleats and pallu in no time. The pallu of the saree was draped differently to show the beauty of pleated frills with pom-poms which gave that mermaid look while walking. I paired the saree with red high neck blouse which is fully embroidered with golden thread and embellished with stones to add definition and pop of color. The statement earrings and the belt made this whole look distinctive.
